FAQ

Where is the Yellow Elemental sword in Poly Loot?
On a small island beside Beach Town. Fix the broken bridge for Builder Bruno, cross it, climb the grey rocks on the island, and the sword is on a round stone platform at the top. Two creators show the same spot on video, and the official V4 notes only say to find the hidden sword.
Why can't I get across to the Yellow Elemental island?
The bridge starts out broken. In Igro Mir's video an invisible wall stops them in the water and the game says "Complete the builder quest first." Builder Bruno's Fix the Bridge quest asks for 20 Palm Wood and 10 Dark Wood.
Is the Yellow Elemental in a PvP zone?
Yes. In both videos the status at the top of the screen reads PVP: ON once you cross the bridge, and a PVP ON banner shows at the bridge itself. Other players can attack you on the island, so do not stop to fight on the way up.
What level do you need for the Yellow Elemental sword?
The V4 notes set no level for the sword. The creators who show it are around level 283 and 315, which fits the rest of the area: the Beach Town Respawn Shrine needs level 280 and Captain Blackpowder needs level 300.
How many elemental swords are there now?
Five: Red and Blue in the starting area, Green in the Jungle, Pink in the Dark Forest and Yellow at the Beach. Players expect six in total for a combined weapon, but the developer has not confirmed that.
How do you get to Beach Town quickly?
Use the World Map once you have been there. The V4 notes say you can travel from the map to Beach Town after your first visit, and from level 280 you can also set your spawn at its Respawn Shrine.

Where is the Yellow Elemental sword?

At the top of the rocks on a small island next to Beach Town. You finish Builder Bruno’s bridge quest, cross to the island, climb the grey rocks, and the sword is waiting on a round stone platform at the summit. It glows bright yellow, so you will see it as you come over the last ledge.

The official V4 notes give only one line: “Find the hidden Yellow Elemental sword.” The location comes from two creators who recorded the route. MasterOfShadows and YourLocal_Nagi both posted short clips about a week after the update, neither has spoken directions, and their on-screen routes match from the town to the platform. The route below is read from that footage. The bridge quest comes from a third creator, Igro Mir, whose video shows the step the other two skip.

How do you open the bridge?

Finish Builder Bruno’s Fix the Bridge quest. The bridge is broken until you do. Igro Mir was turned back by an invisible wall in the water, and the game put up the message “Complete the builder quest first.” Their quest tracker shows what Bruno wants:

  • 20 Palm Wood, from chopping palm trees at the Beach.
  • 10 Dark Wood, from chopping dark trees in the Dark Forest.

Then go back to Bruno. Igro Mir says plainly that you will not reach the sword without repairing the bridge. The V4 notes only say “Help Builder Bruno fix the broken bridge”, and MasterOfShadows and YourLocal_Nagi walk straight over, so they had presumably done it already.

How do you get there from Beach Town?

With the bridge repaired:

  1. Start in Beach Town. Both clips begin on the town’s paved streets; YourLocal_Nagi sets off from beside the crafting station.
  2. Leave town onto the grass. A trail of flat stepping stones runs through the palm trees towards the shore.
  3. Cross the wooden bridge. It is orange planks on posts, leading over the water to the island. A “PVP ON” banner appears as you reach it.
  4. Head for the big grey rocks. They rise out of the grass on the far side, and they are the only high ground on the island.
  5. Climb to the top. Jump from ledge to ledge. There is no ladder or marked path in either clip.
  6. Walk onto the round stone platform. MasterOfShadows’ clip ends here, with a “New item!” popup and the sword in hand.

Neither clip runs longer than 25 seconds, so this is a short walk compared with the Pink Elemental’s trek through the Jungle or the Green Elemental’s tree climb. Getting to Beach Town is the long part, and the Beach page covers that.

HOW TO GET THE YELLOW ELEMENTAL SWORD IN POLY LOOT! (MasterOfShadows)

What do you need before you go?

The bridge quest, and after that nothing we can find. The notes set no level for the sword itself. The other gates in the area give a sense of who it is aimed at: the Beach Town Respawn Shrine needs level 280, and Captain Blackpowder needs level 300. The two creators are around level 283 and 315 on screen, and neither shows anything being spent to claim it.

Once you have reached Beach Town on foot, the World Map can take you back without the walk, and from level 280 the shrine will hold your spawn there. A quick route for a returning player is therefore: map to Beach Town, stepping stones, bridge, rocks. The walk from town took under half a minute in both clips.

How does it compare with the other elemental swords?

Sword Area Where it hides What catches people out
Red Starting area Up a climb The climb itself
Blue Starting area, near Red A small hidden opening Finding the way in
Green Jungle High in a large tree Rated the hardest to find
Pink Dark Forest Behind a waterfall, under the dungeon You must jump in, not walk
Yellow Beach On top of the rocks on the island The bridge quest, then PvP

Yellow looks like the quickest of the three later swords once the bridge is fixed: no hidden entrance and no tree to search, only PvP on the way. The elemental locations page has the routes for all five.

What is the Yellow Elemental for?

The developer has published no stats for any of the elemental swords. Creators disagree on the earlier ones: DanKnowsStuff says Red and Blue help new players early, while Dannie calls them weak but worth collecting. Players expect them to feed a combined weapon, and a comment under ItzVexo’s guide describes a “godsword” that needs all six elements (unverified).

Yellow makes five of that six, if the theory is right. No combined recipe has appeared in any patch notes so far, so treat it as a collection goal rather than a crafting step. As a weapon, Igro Mir reads out 18,750 damage on their copy, at an unstated grade and upgrade level. For gear to actually fight with, the weapons page lists what the area’s creatures and bosses drop.
