How do Poly Loot quests work?

Poly Loot quests come from NPCs placed around the map, and you can accept several at the same time. Dannie’s beginner walkthrough says to collect every quest before you farm anything, because they interlink and you earn extra progress. ItzVexo gives the same advice and adds that turning quests in is one of the fastest ways to level.

Players search “poly loot quest” and “poly loot quest wiki” looking for a list of who gives what. No complete list exists yet, but the opening chain is well documented. Here is who asks for what, and who reported it:

What kinds of quests are there?

There are at least three kinds. ItzVexo names daily, story and achievement quests as the best route to fast levels. AccelToWin’s quest menu shows a story quest, and an achievement pop-up paid out a big chunk of EXP in the same video. The Jungle update added 13 new achievements, according to the official notes. Hunts, the kill-count jobs from NPCs like the captain, make up most of the early game. The leveling guide explains how to stack them for XP.

Update 2.5 added a fourth kind: baking orders. Dockhand Milo in town wants a Cake for his river crew and then a pantry restock, and Gardener Pippa in the jungle village has three orders — 5 Banana Bread, then 32 Banana Cookies, then both at once. Every one of Pippa’s orders pays Tier Scrolls, and finishing her line gives a Godly Shard. The baking guide covers the recipes those orders need.

October added three more kinds. Daily quests now come from the area you are in and grow with your level. Quest boards let you hold 3 at a time: the Halloween board has over 100 quests until November 7, and the Tackle Shop runs fishing quests. Clan quests, also 3 at a time, pay Clan Tokens for Clan Wars.

Some quests are harder than they look. Dannie points out one quest giver tied to ability runes whose fight Dannie has “never been able to beat” (unverified). That fight is optional for a new player, so skip it and come back later. The abilities page lists the other rune sources.

How do you find Whiskers for the lost cat quest?

Whiskers is Grandma Fern’s lost cat, and the official Jungle notes list finding it as one of the Jungle quests. It sits high up in a big Jungle tree. Dannie and DanKnowsStuff both posted route videos. Neither has captions, so the route below comes from reading their footage frame by frame, and both videos reach the same kind of spot:

1. Start from the Jungle’s central plaza, the one with the glowing green crystal, where Dannie’s video begins. Out in the open Jungle the PvP indicator reads on in both videos, so watch for other players.
2. Find a huge tree with a thick branch that slopes all the way down to the grass.
3. Walk up the branch to the fork high above a bamboo grove. Dannie’s footage shows the black cat sitting right there.
4. Go back to Grandma Fern. DanKnowsStuff’s video ends by talking to her at a treehouse with a big round window, where PvP is off.

“poly loot find whiskers” is one of the most searched quest phrases for the game. DanKnowsStuff’s description jokes that the cat is “pretty annoying”, and a viewer under Dannie’s Green Elemental video asked “Where the lost cat at tho”, so it clearly takes some searching.

It can also hold up your Ability Runes. Igro Mir could not start Warden Alder’s duel with this quest open, and took it to be in the same one-at-a-time line as the rune challenges (unverified). The abilities page covers those.

How do you beat Hunter Robin at the archery range?

Win his archery challenge. The official Update 1.5 notes say your first win gives an Ability Rune, and the badge reads “Beat Hunter Robin at the archery range!” It was added on September 3, 2026 and had been earned 15,659 times by September 18.

The Jungle update made it easier. According to the official notes, Hunter Robin’s moving target is slower, he scores about 1-2 points less, the challenge is easier on mobile, and the archery rounds now make up for lag. What creators add:

• Dannie calls it the hardest way to earn an Ability Rune. The first two stages are easy, and the last stage is “so chaotic” that Dannie could not clear it (unverified).
• Update 1.5 added the Hunter Bow, crafted along with arrows in batches of 8, in the same section as Hunter Robin. Dannie’s notes say the archery quests unlock that recipe (unverified).
• Dannie’s gorilla-quest video suggests doing Scout Koa’s training at the same time as the archer’s quest, because the archer helps with damage (unverified).
• Bbkill posted “how to easily beat archer robin in polyloot” and described it as “a hard challenge”. That video has no captions.

Which Jungle quests are there?

The official Jungle notes name the quest givers and their rewards, and the quest trackers in creators’ videos fill in the objectives:

• Scout’s Warm-Up: walk 300 steps, dodge-roll 10 times, swing your weapon 30 times, then return to Scout Koa (Dannie’s Whiskers video).
• The Scout’s Trial: walk 2,000 steps, dodge-roll 50 times in a fight, land 150 swings on beasts (Dannie’s gorilla video). Dannie recalls a middle drill of about 1,000 steps, 25 dodge-rolls and 50 swings (unverified).
• Light the Path: build 7 light posts, then return to Herbalist Sela (Dannie’s Whiskers video).
• King of the Jungle: slay 50 frogs, 50 tigers, 50 crocodiles, 50 cobras and 100 gorillas, defeat the Triple Head Cobra, then return to Herbalist Sela (DanKnowsStuff’s Whiskers video). Dannie reads out the same 100 gorillas, 50 frogs and 50 tigers.

This clears up a mix-up in Dannie’s gorilla video, which credits the whole chain to Scout Koa. The trackers show the walking and dodging drills go back to Scout Koa, while the gorilla kill quest goes back to Herbalist Sela, which matches the official notes. The gorilla mount page has the details.

Which Dark Forest quests are there?

Four, added by the V3 update on October 3, 2026. The official notes list each NPC with its reward:

Each one also unlocks a title: Pathfinder, Namekeeper, Archivist and Worldwalker. Lyra’s Rift Key opens Archmage Vex’s rift on demand, and Hale’s World Map is the only way to get fast travel. No walkthrough for any of the four has been published yet. The Dark Forest page covers the area.

Which Beach quests are there?

Eight, added by the V4 update on October 24, 2026. The Beach page has the table:

• Fisherman Gus wants help catching Old Saltjaw, for his Lucky Lure. Notes in Bottles, also his, asks you to reel in 4 bottles.
• Lani the fruit seller has 4 quests, ending in a Godly Shard.
• Surfer Kai teaches you to surf, and gives you a surfboard for any water.
• Pearl sends you diving, for Pearl’s Flippers (+50% swim speed).
• Bea wants the town painted, for the Painted Beach banner.
• Nana Opal wants 8 shells gathered, for 10 extra inventory slots.
• Builder Bruno needs a broken bridge fixed, with 20 Palm Wood and 10 Dark Wood. The notes name no reward, but it opens the way to the Yellow Elemental.
• Little Finn needs carrying to Doctor Ten, for his Redshell Crab, a Legendary mount. Igro Mir found him drowning off one of the beaches, and you can ride your mount while carrying him (unverified).

Which Halloween quests are there?

Four hosts on Halloween Island each give a piece of the Epic Pumpkin Hammer: Jack Wick, Hazel Hexwick, Wisp Bell and Vesper Nocturne. They run until November 7, 2026, and the Lootaween guide lists what each one asks.

Which quests still have no guide?

“Build the Cart Track” is one. Players search for it by name, and it gets as many searches as the lost cat quest, but no published video or guide explains it yet. The same goes for Ranger Bex’s task.

Two chains do have full pages: Herbalist Sela’s quests on the gorilla mount page, and Hunter Robin’s Ability Rune on the abilities page.
