FAQ

What is on the Poly Loot map?
Five areas: the starting fields with Captain Mara, chickens, sheep, pigs and wolves; a cave area with skeletons, ores and the Spider Boss; the Jungle, with its own village and the Triple Head Cobra; the Dark Forest, with its rift and dungeon; and the Beach, with Beach Town and two bosses.
How do you get to the Jungle in Poly Loot?
Head through the skeleton area and past the cave Spider Boss. A reply under Dannie's video says the new area is past it, and DanKnowsStuff's route there passes the skeletons.
What level do you need for the Jungle?
The official notes tie level 80 to two things: setting your spawn point at the Respawn Shrine and dueling Warden Alder. Dannie describes the whole area as level 80 and above, but the notes don't say it is locked below that.
Is the game linear?
Yes. AccelToWin calls the progression pretty linear, and a player under Dannie's Green Elemental video advises to just progress as you normally would.
When did the newest area come out?
The Beach opened on October 24, 2026 at 17:00 UTC with the V4 update. The Dark Forest opened on October 3 and the Jungle on September 13. Roblox lists an event named NEW AREA UPDATE! from November 7.

What does the Poly Loot map look like?

The Poly Loot map has six areas. You start in open fields around Captain Mara, move into a cave area full of skeletons and ores where the Spider Boss lives, continue into the Jungle, and from there walk on into the Dark Forest. The Beach came next, and the Tower, the newest area, opened on October 31, 2026 off the starting fields. AccelToWin calls the progression “pretty linear”, and up to the Dark Forest the way forward runs past the last boss you beat.

The official description promises “new worlds” with updates. Before the latest update, Dannie called the Spider “this final boss” and pointed past it to the area “upcoming in the next update”, which is where the new area now sits. Here is what each area holds:

Area What you find there
Starting fields Captain Mara; chickens and sheep; pigs and wolves; the King Chicken; the Red and Blue elemental swords
Cave area Skeletons; the Spider Boss; the mine with its own crafting station; ore spots, the Bear Mountain entrance and PvP zones (unverified)
Jungle A village with crafting, upgrade, reroll and merchant stations; the Respawn Shrine; the Enchanting Circle; frogs, tigers, crocodiles, cobras and gorillas; PvP on in the open, off in safe spots; the Triple Head Cobra; Warden Alder; the Green Elemental sword
Dark Forest Moths, Phantom Dogs, Chupacabras, Specters and Haunted Trees; the Cursed Owl; Archmage Vex’s rift (level 100); the Dark Dungeon (level 150); four quest NPCs; the Pink Elemental sword
Beach Beach Town with its bank, Trader Ken, stations and Tackle Shop; six creatures; the Skullcrab; Captain Blackpowder (level 300); Abyssor’s rift (level 250); eight quest NPCs; the Yellow Elemental sword
Tower The Competition Tower with its season leaderboard and Tower Pass; the Global Challenge board; Tanuki on the dock
Halloween Island (until Nov 7) The night market, graveyard, pumpkin hollow, witch’s bog and haunted manor, reached through a gate in Old Town or the Jungle

What is in the starting fields?

The early quests all happen here. Three separate playthroughs start by meeting Captain Mara and hunting chickens and sheep near spawn. Next come pigs and wolves, which both Gravy Live and AccelToWin found surprisingly deadly. The King Chicken, the first boss, is the goal of this area’s quest chain. Its official badge has been earned 153,296 times.

The first two elemental swords are also here. Dannie uses the windmills and a bridge as landmarks, while DanKnowsStuff uses a waterfall (unverified). The elemental locations page has both routes.

Bears appear early as well. AccelToWin’s quest menu lists a story quest to slay three bears, Dannie names a “Bear Mountain” cave entrance, and a commenter under a shrine video advises heading for the area with lots of bears rather than the one with chickens.

What is in the cave area?

Skeletons, ores and a boss. Dannie’s beginner walkthrough says the quest chain leads down to bones and skeletons after the first quests. The mining guide shows skeletons straight down from the cave entrance, and DanKnowsStuff passes skeletons on the way to the Jungle. The boss down here lives in a cave. Dannie shows the route down from an entrance, and Drew posted a clip titled “Cave Spider Boss”. The spider fight page covers that fight.

The official Update 1.5 notes add a crafting station inside the mine. Dannie’s mining guide fills in the layout (unverified): ore spots scattered through the cave, a dense ore cluster at the Bear Mountain entrance, and a split between PvP-on sections below and a PvP-off section above where low-level players can mine safely. The mining guide has the full layout.

How do you get to the Jungle in Poly Loot?

Go through the skeleton area and past the cave boss. When a viewer asked where the new area was, a reply under Dannie’s Green Elemental video said it is “past where the cave spider boss is”. DanKnowsStuff’s route there also runs past the skeletons. The area opened with the official “JUNGLE AREA!” event on September 13, 2026.

Level 80 matters once you are there. The official notes say you need level 80 to set your spawn point at the Respawn Shrine and to duel Warden Alder in the ruins. Dannie’s gorilla-quest video goes further and calls it an area for “level 80 and above” (unverified), but the notes don’t say the area itself is locked below 80. Finding the way in can be the harder part: one player under Dannie’s video asked “How to get to world jungle, I’m already level 80”. The leveling guide covers the fastest ways to level up.

What is in the Dark Forest?

The Dark Forest was added by the V3 update on October 3, 2026. You reach it on foot from the Jungle: in Dannie’s walkthrough the path starts between the enchanting station and the tier station and runs down past the gorillas (unverified). It holds five new creatures, the Cursed Owl on a 15-minute timer, Archmage Vex’s rift, the 10-room Dark Dungeon, four quests and the Pink Elemental sword. The Dark Forest page covers all of it.

What is at the Beach?

The Beach was added by the V4 update on October 24, 2026. Beach Town has its own bank, Trader Ken and crafting, upgrade, reroll and merchant stations, plus a Respawn Shrine from level 280. Around it are six creatures, the Skullcrab on a 20-minute timer, Captain Blackpowder’s duel at level 300, Abyssor’s rift at level 250, deep water you can swim in, and the Yellow Elemental sword. The Beach page covers all of it. We have not found a published walking route for the first trip.

Where is the Tower?

Through a gap in the rocks in the starting fields, beside the way in to the bears and near the cow, going by Tokyowends’ launch-day video (unverified). It is the V4.5 area, open since October 31, 2026, and after your first visit it is on the World Map. The Tower page has the rest.

Where is Halloween Island?

Through a haunted gate in Old Town or the Jungle. It is the Lootaween event’s island and is open until November 7, 2026, with the Halloween Merchant, the Pumpkin Stall and Dracula’s Castle at the Haunted Manor. The Lootaween guide goes through it.

Is there an in-game map?

Yes, since V3. The World Map shows the whole island, its bosses and every quest you have not finished, and lets you travel to Spawn or the Jungle, plus Beach Town since V4 and the Tower since V4.5, once you have been there. It is a quest reward: Night Scout Hale in the Dark Forest gives it for walking his Long Patrol, so you need to reach the Dark Forest on foot once before you can fast-travel anywhere.

What is in the Jungle?

The official Jungle update notes describe it in detail:

Official Poly Loot art: a character in leaf-covered green armor holding a vine-wrapped wooden sword in a dense jungle

Official Poly Loot promotional art showing jungle-themed armor. The Jungle area opened on September 13, 2026.

  • A village. It has its own crafting, upgrade, reroll and merchant stations. In Dannie’s footage the reroll station, signed “TIERS”, and a merchant stall sit by a central plaza with a glowing green crystal.
  • The Respawn Shrine. From level 80 you can set your spawn point there.
  • The Enchanting Circle, where you add enchantments to weapons and armor. The abilities page explains enchanting.
  • The Triple Head Cobra, a boss that returns every 15 minutes. See the Triple Head Cobra page.
  • Warden Alder, whom you duel in the ruins at level 80.
  • The Green Elemental sword, claimed from its shrine. Dannie and DanKnowsStuff both find it high in a tree. See the green elemental sword guide.
  • Resources. Chop trees for Jungle Wood and banana trees for Bananas.
  • Quests, including the Whiskers lost cat quest and the gorilla mount chain. See the quests page.

The five new creatures are Frogs, Tigers, Crocodiles, Cobras and Gorillas. Diamond gear drops from Frogs and Tigers, and Jungle gear from Crocodiles, Cobras and Gorillas; the weapons page lists every piece. In both Dannie’s and DanKnowsStuff’s footage the PvP indicator reads on out in the open and off in safe spots: the central plaza in Dannie’s video, and Grandma Fern’s treehouse in DanKnowsStuff’s. Dannie also warns of two stretches of cobras that can one-shot you (unverified).

Is the game linear?

Yes, for now. AccelToWin calls it “a pretty linear progression”, and when a viewer under Dannie’s Green Elemental video struggled to find the new area, a reply in that thread said “the game is extremely linear”. In other words: follow the quest chain as normal and it leads you forward. The five elemental swords are hidden along the way, and the elemental locations page has the routes.
