How do you beat the Spider Boss in Poly Loot?
Dannie's tip is to get up close and keep moving around it, which Dannie says makes the fight easy. That advice predates the October 10, 2026 update, which gave the Spider two new attacks, Impale and Skyfall, and all-new animations.
What does the Spider Boss drop?
Rare Ability Runes, according to the official Update 1.5 notes, and ItzVexo's Index screen lists it as a rune source too. No full drop table has been published. Cobwebs, which Dannie finds in its area, are an official Jungle Bow ingredient.

Where is the Poly Loot spider boss?

The Poly Loot spider boss lives in a cave beyond the starting fields. Dannie’s walkthrough starts at an entrance and heads down to reach it, and Drew calls it the “Cave Spider Boss”. It is the second most-earned boss badge after the King Chicken, and the Jungle lies beyond it. Only 6.0% of players have beaten it.

Before the Jungle update, Dannie called it “this final boss” and pointed past it to the next area “upcoming in the next update”. That area is now the Jungle, and a reply under Dannie’s Green Elemental video says the new area is “past where the cave spider boss is”. The Poly Loot map shows how the areas connect.

How do you reach the Poly Loot spider boss?

Dannie’s route (unverified):

  1. Start at the entrance shown in the video and head down.
  2. Keep moving through the passage.
  3. You will run into a group of enemies. Don’t stop to fight them; push through even if they hit you.
  4. Past them, you reach the boss.

Dannie describes the route as “not that hard” to find. Skeletons also show up in this part of the map, both in Dannie’s mining video, which the mining guide covers, and on DanKnowsStuff’s route to the Jungle.

How do you beat the Spider Boss?

Stay close and keep moving. Dannie’s tip is to get up close and move around the boss, which makes the fight “really easy” (unverified). Drew’s clip of the fight is titled “Spider Boss Just Spamming Webs”, which suggests web attacks (unverified).

Far fewer players hold this badge than the King Chicken badge, so prepare before you go:

  • Put your early level-up points into Damage, the pick most creators recommend. See the best stats page.
  • Upgrade your weapon with shards and coins, and reroll its tier with scrolls. See the tier scrolls guide.
  • An ability helps. Gravy Live found the Flash Step dash useful, and the abilities page covers how to get one.

What does the Spider Boss drop?

No full drop table has been published, but the key reward is official:

  • Ability Runes. The official Update 1.5 notes say runes come from your first win against Hunter Robin “or as a rare drop from the Spider”. ItzVexo’s Index screen lists this boss among the rune sources too.
  • A Spider set in the Index. The same notes list Spider as one of the four original Index sets; finding every piece gives a permanent stat boost.
  • Cobwebs. The official Jungle notes make cobwebs a Jungle Bow ingredient, and the crafting screen in Dannie’s gorilla-quest video asks for 50. Dannie points at webs in the boss’s area as the place to collect them (unverified).

Can you respawn the Spider Boss?

Yes. The official store sells Respawn Spider for 99 Robux, added on August 1, 2026. The same kind of product exists for the King Chicken (29 Robux) and the Triple Head Cobra (99 Robux). Since October 24 the store also sells a general Respawn Boss (119 Robux) for “the boss on the sign you picked”, though the notes do not list which bosses have a sign. The free respawn timer has not been published.

With the Spider down, the Jungle is next, and the Triple Head Cobra is the boss waiting there.
