Poly Loot Abyssor: Kraken Rift, Abyssal Keys and Drops

How do you fight Abyssor?

Through his rift, in the Beach’s waters. Abyssor, the Kraken King, arrived with the V4.5 update on October 31, 2026. The notes give the rules plainly: “Enter Abyssor’s rift at level 250, which opens in the Beach’s waters every 20 minutes”, and “Beat him with up to 8 players.”

He works the same way as Archmage Vex, at a higher level:

The notes do not pinpoint the rift, and players were asking “where is the kraken?” on launch night. In GUXTAXpz7’s video it stands on a pale stone platform with pillars, surrounded by sea, with an on-screen countdown to the opening. Beach Town is on the World Map once you have visited, and the Beach page covers the area. The same update fixed Vex’s rift opening at the Beach by mistake, so if a video shows his rift there, it predates that fix.

How do you get Abyssal Keys?

“Use an Abyssal Key at the Beach to open his rift yourself.” That skips the 20-minute wait, and the notes name three sources:

The Roblox store had no Abyssal Key product on November 1, 2026, so they cannot be bought directly.

Do not plan around the boss alone. One player reported 18 rifts without a key (unverified). Fishing quests also pay coins, XP and other rewards, so they are the steadier route if you want more than three fights an hour. Another player in the official Discord says Abyssal Keys give better rewards than Rift Keys, which got rarer in the same update (unverified).

What does Abyssor drop?

Abyssal Grasp is the one new enchantment in V4.5, and it seems to drop as a book, going by one player’s report (unverified). The notes do not say what it does. The enchants page lists it with the other Godly ones.

How long those odds really are. The rift’s own timer gives 3 fights an hour:

Those hours assume you win every fight and never use a key, so treat the enchantment as a realistic goal and the scythe as a lucky bonus. It does happen: a player posted that they had just got the scythe about 16 hours after launch, and “Got #10” (unverified). Check the drops page for how luck passes change other rare drops. The Global Challenge’s 2x Luck Wednesday is also worth saving a key or two for, though the notes do not say whether it affects his drops.

How hard is Abyssor?

Players so far do not rate him as hard. No fight guide exists yet, and the notes give no mechanics, so this comes from players:

• The official badge was earned 4,499 times in the first 16 hours or so, with a past-day count far above Vex’s 847 or Captain Blackpowder’s 756.
• One player called him “so weak” and “a copy and paste Vex” about an hour after launch (unverified).
• Another reported 70 kills about 12 hours in (unverified). The timer alone allows 36 in that time, so keys or a change of server must make up the rest.
• GUXTAXpz7’s video title claims a solo win at about level 372. The footage is low resolution, and six players are on the server list, so we cannot confirm nobody helped.
• That video shows a large warning across the screen mid-fight, partly blurred but readable as “GET BACK!”, so move away from him when it appears.

Players are forming groups in the official Discord’s #looking-for-party channel, which helps if your damage is low. The best stats page is the place to go if you keep losing.
