FAQ

What is in the Beach area in Poly Loot?
Beach Town, with a bank, Trader Ken and crafting, upgrade, reroll and merchant stations; 6 creatures; two bosses and Abyssor's rift; three armor sets; eight quests; the Tackle Shop for fishing; deep water you can swim and dive in; and the Yellow Elemental sword on an island near town.
What level do you need for the Beach?
The V4 notes set no level for the area itself. Two things are gated: the Beach Town Respawn Shrine needs level 280, and the duel with Captain Blackpowder needs level 300.
What kills you if you swim too far at the Beach?
The Abyssal Shark. The official notes say it in one line: 'Swim too far out to sea and the Abyssal Shark will get you.' Stay near the shore unless you are heading somewhere specific.
What drops Ruby and Sea armor?
Ruby gear drops from Coral Turtles, Divecrabs and Bloomlotls. Sea gear drops from Octopuses, Reef Lobsters and Coral Knights, and Coral Knights also drop the Coral Axe. The Crab set comes from the Skullcrab.
Which Beach quest gives a mount?
Little Finn's. Igro Mir found him drowning off one of the beaches. Carry him to Doctor Ten, which you can do while riding your mount, and you get his Redshell Crab, a Legendary mount. Surfer Kai's quest gives a surfboard you can ride on any water, which is a separate item.

What is the Beach in Poly Loot?

The Beach is the area the V4 update added on October 24, 2026 at 17:00 UTC, and the game’s Roblox title has carried a [BEACH] tag since. It is the fifth area on the map, after the starting fields, the cave, the Jungle and the Dark Forest. The map page shows how they connect.

Its centre is Beach Town, a full base of its own: a bank, a Trader Ken, and crafting, upgrade, reroll and merchant stations, so you have no need to walk back to the Jungle village for those. From level 280 you can set your spawn at the town’s Respawn Shrine.

How do you get to the Beach?

The notes cover the return trip but not the first one: “Travel from the World Map to Beach Town once you’ve been there.” So the first visit is on foot, and we have not found a creator or official source that lays out the walk.

The best lead comes from the official Discord. When a player asked how to reach the Beach from the Dark Forest on October 26, another advised doing the map quest and using it to see (unverified). That quest is Night Scout Hale’s in the Dark Forest, and the Dark Forest page has the details. The World Map shows the whole island, so get it first if you do not have it.

What creatures live at the Beach?

Six, and they split by which armor they drop:

Creature Drops
Coral Turtles Ruby gear
Divecrabs Ruby gear
Bloomlotls Ruby gear
Octopuses Sea gear
Reef Lobsters Sea gear
Coral Knights Sea gear, plus the Coral Axe

Palm trees are worth a stop too. Chopping them gives Palm Wood and Coconuts, a new food.

Can you swim at the Beach?

Yes, and that is new: you can swim and dive in the deep water here. The catch is one line in the notes: “Swim too far out to sea and the Abyssal Shark will get you.” There is no published distance, so treat the open sea as off-limits until you have a reason to go.

Two Beach quests change how you handle water. Pearl’s pearl-diving quest gives Pearl’s Flippers for +50% swim speed, and Surfer Kai’s lessons give you your own surfboard to ride on any water, not only here.

What gear comes from the Beach?

Three armor sets, each setting a new published record for its stat in the Index:

Set Where it comes from Index set bonus
Ruby Coral Turtles, Divecrabs, Bloomlotls +110% Defense
Sea Octopuses, Reef Lobsters, Coral Knights +120% Defense
Crab The Skullcrab +300% Health

The notes count 12 new weapons but name only some: the Crab Katana, Crab Spear, Coral Axe and Sea Twinblade Axe from the Skullcrab, plus two Godly drops, the Crab Hammer (1 in 250 from the Skullcrab) and the Anchor Blade (1 in 100 from Captain Blackpowder). The Beach bosses page covers both fights, and the weapons page puts this gear next to everything older.

The area’s elemental sword is close to town, on an island across a wooden bridge that you have to fix first. The Yellow Elemental page has the route.

What quests are at the Beach?

Eight NPCs, with the rewards the notes list:

NPC Quest Reward
Fisherman Gus Catch Old Saltjaw His Lucky Lure
Lani the fruit seller 4 quests A Godly Shard
Surfer Kai Learn to surf A surfboard for any water
Pearl Dive for pearls Pearl’s Flippers (+50% swim speed)
Bea Paint the town The Painted Beach banner
Nana Opal Gather 8 shells 10 extra inventory slots
Builder Bruno Fix the broken bridge: 20 Palm Wood and 10 Dark Wood Opens the way to the Yellow Elemental
Little Finn Carry him to Doctor Ten His Redshell Crab, a Legendary mount

If you are choosing where to start, Nana Opal’s 10 slots are what the store sells for 15 Robux, and Little Finn’s mount is the one to chase if you still ride something slow. The gorilla mount page covers the Jungle’s Legendary mount for comparison. We have not found a full walkthrough of the eight, but Igro Mir’s video fills in three details:

  • Bruno’s bridge is a gate. Until it is repaired, an invisible wall and the message “Complete the builder quest first” keep you off the island with the Yellow Elemental.
  • Little Finn is not waiting in town. They searched through other quests before spotting him drowning off one of the beaches. Doctor Ten is a long way off, but you can jump and ride your mount while carrying him. Their crab arrived at F+ grade, so a Mount Tier Scroll may help (unverified).
  • Gus has a second quest. Notes in Bottles asks you to reel in 4 bottles. One was behind that same wall, and they fished it from a cliff where the rod could reach once the bridge was done.

What else is in Beach Town?

The Tackle Shop, which runs the whole fishing system: rods, bait, Lucky Charms, flippers, a fish-selling counter and its own quest board. There are 36 fish across every area of the game, not just this one. Since V4.5 the Fish Trader in town also takes your fish in trade. The fishing guide goes through it.

Abyssor’s rift is the other V4.5 addition: it opens in the Beach’s waters every 20 minutes from level 250, and an Abyssal Key opens it on demand. The Abyssor page has the drops and odds.

Is the Beach safe?

Not everywhere. Beach Town itself shows PVP: OFF in creators’ footage, but crossing the wooden bridge to the island flips the status to PVP: ON. A “PVP ON” banner marks the spot (from video footage). Check the top of your screen before you stop to farm.
