Poly Loot Clans: How to Create or Join One, Tiers and Perks

How do you create a clan in Poly Loot?

Buy the Clan Creator game pass, then create the clan. The pass costs 249 Robux, and its official description is “Allows you to create a clan every 30 days!” Clans arrived with the V3 update on October 3, 2026.

Two details in that description are easy to miss:

• It is a pass, not a token. You own it permanently, and it lets you found a clan once every 30 days.
• The 30 days limits how often you can found one. The notes do not say what happens to the timer if you disband or leave a clan you created.

There is also a Gift Clan Pass product at the same 249 Robux, added on October 3, for buying the pass for someone else.

Is joining a clan free?

Yes. The patch notes put both routes in one line: “Create a clan with the Clan Creator pass, or join one for free.” Only the founder pays. If you are not planning to lead, find a clan with open slots and skip the pass entirely.

What do clans give you?

Seven things, all from the official notes:

The part that changes your own progress is the tier bonus. Luck affects drops, and the Index now shows every drop chance with your luck already applied, so a tiered clan shows up directly in the numbers you see there. The drops page explains the Index, and the +25% coins matters more now that, since V3, every enemy drops coins on every kill.

What is Clan Wars?

The weekly clan mode added on October 17, 2026: build a base for 3 days, then raid other clans for 4. It is opened from your Clans menu, it is where Trophies, Clan Tokens and Season 1 rewards come from, and only members who win a star can claim those rewards. The Clan Wars guide has the full rules.

Three smaller changes have reached clans themselves since launch. You can leave a clan from its Home page, the Clan Log on the Vault page shows who donated, opened chests or joined, and ownership transfers now take 3 days instead of 7.

V4.5 added more on October 31. A War Captain can lead raids without Officer powers, and War Captains and up can cancel a raid that is still gathering. Clan Settings now choose who can start raids, build and publish your base. Removing a member needs a reason, which they receive by letter and the Clan Log records.

How do clans level up?

By killing bosses. “Kill bosses to earn clan XP and level up your clan” is the whole rule in the notes, and V3 added three new ones to farm: the Cursed Owl on a 15-minute timer, Archmage Vex in his rift, and the Voodoo Doll at the end of the Dark Dungeon. The older bosses count too — the notes do not limit it to the new area.

That makes an active clan a boss-farming group by design, which pairs well with two other V3 changes: servers now hold 10 players instead of 8, and parties (added in Update 2.5) stop members from damaging each other.

Is the Clan Creator pass worth 249 Robux?

It depends on whether you want to lead. The perks — tiers, chat, vault, leaderboard — go to every member, and members join for free. The pass buys only the right to found a clan.

If you play solo and want a personal bonus, Drop Luck at the same price is the direct alternative. If you already have a group, one person buying Clan Creator covers everyone.

Is there a clan code?

Not any more. CLANS was one of three codes posted with the update, and it expired around October 11, 2026. The codes page lists what still works. The update log has everything else V3 added.
