FAQ

How do Poly Loot drops work?
Monsters and bosses drop weapons, armor and materials. The in-game Index shows what drops where. ItzVexo uses it to find that the Cobra Twinblade Axe drops from the Triple Head Cobra at a 1% chance.
What does the Extra Item Drop pass do?
Its official description is "+1 extra mob drop on the loot table." It costs 499 Robux.
What does Drop Luck do in Poly Loot?
The official description is "Increase chances of rarer drops in animals." The pass costs 249 Robux.
Can you still get the Nether set?
Not from the store. The V3 update on October 3, 2026 replaced the Nether set in the Paid Chest with the Pumpkin Reaper set and stopped selling the Nether Pack. The chest products kept their prices: 99, 249 and 799 Robux, and 1,199 for the pack.
What is the rarest drop players have found?
The Bat Striker, at 1 in 1,000,000 from Halloween Dungeon monsters, followed by the Bat Bow at 1 in 400,000. Among permanent drops, the Shadow Katana from Archmage Vex and the Abyssor Scythe from Abyssor are both 1 in 10,000. The Z tier grade is 1 in 10,000, but that is a reroll result, not a drop.

How do Poly Loot drops work?

Poly Loot drops come from every monster and boss you defeat, and the in-game Index tells you which enemy drops which item. Pick up weapons, armor and materials, keep what beats your current gear, and break down the rest. For rare items, look up the chance first, then farm the right enemy. The Extra Item Drop and Drop Luck passes change what drops.

Players search this in a lot of different ways: “poly loot drop”, “poly loot table”, “poly loot roblox drop” and even “poly loot pool”. All of them come back to the same two questions: what does each enemy drop, and how likely is it?

How do you check drop chances in game?

Open the Index, pick an enemy you have defeated, and read its drops. ItzVexo shows that after you defeat an enemy, you can select its entry to see what it drops. The example in the video is the Cobra Twinblade Axe, listed as a 1% drop from the Triple Head Cobra. The official Jungle patch notes give the same 1% for the Godly Cobra Twinblade Axe.

It works in the other direction too. Switch to items, pick the thing you want, and it lists where it comes from. ItzVexo looks up the Ability Rune this way, and Dannie’s rune guide also routes players through the same menu.

  1. Open the Index.
  2. Select a defeated enemy to see its drops, or switch to items to look up a specific reward.
  3. Check the listed chance before you commit to a long farm.
  4. Claim any rewards it offers as your entries fill in. ItzVexo and AccelToWin both collect them, and Update 1.5 added a Claim All button and a Search box.

What do Index sets give?

A permanent boost for every set you complete. The official Update 1.5 notes list four sets (Rune, Spider, Crystal and Nether), the Jungle update added three more, the V3 Dark Forest update added four with far larger bonuses, and Lootaween and the Beach have added five more:

Index set Bonus Added
Rune, Spider, Crystal, Nether Permanent stat boost (size not stated) Update 1.5
Diamond +12% Defense Jungle update
Jungle +15% Defense Jungle update
Cobra +20% Health Jungle update
Emerald +90% Defense V3, Dark Forest
Dark +100% Defense V3, Dark Forest
Soul +250% Health V3, Dark Forest
Cursed +175% Damage V3, Dark Forest
Scarecrow, Vampire Bat Size not stated V3.5, Lootaween
Ruby +110% Defense V4, Beach
Sea +120% Defense V4, Beach
Crab +300% Health V4, Beach

The figures for the seven older sets are the ones published when they launched. The V3 notes say “every older Index set now gives a much bigger boost” without giving the new numbers, so read your real bonus off the Index itself.

Once you claim a set, the Index shows exactly how much DPS or Health its boost gives you. Since V3 it also shows every drop chance with your luck applied and how many of each enemy you have killed, and it lists Challenges and the Dark Dungeon under Other Enemies. For the Jungle sets, Diamond gear drops from Frogs and Tigers, Jungle gear from Crocodiles, Cobras and Gorillas, and Cobra gear from the Triple Head Cobra. In the Dark Forest, Emerald gear drops from Moths, Phantom Dogs and Chupacabras, Dark gear from Specters and Haunted Trees, Cursed gear from the Cursed Owl and Soul gear from the Dark Dungeon. At the Beach, Ruby gear drops from Coral Turtles, Divecrabs and Bloomlotls, Sea gear from Octopuses, Reef Lobsters and Coral Knights, and Crab gear from the Skullcrab. The Index also has separate pages for the Halloween Dungeon and the Beach. The weapons page lists every piece.

What do the Extra Item Drop and Drop Luck passes change?

They change what monsters give you, and both are official game passes:

Pass Official description Price
Extra Item Drop “+1 extra mob drop on the loot table.” 499 Robux
Drop Luck “Increase chances of rarer drops in animals.” 249 Robux

Both passes also exist as gift versions in the developer product list, added on August 13, 2026, so you can buy them for a friend. No creator has published before-and-after drop numbers, so the size of the Drop Luck boost is not known. For boosts that do not touch drops, see the best stats page.

Should you pick up every drop?

Mostly yes, because spare gear becomes upgrade material. ItzVexo tells players to pick up everything, good or bad, and scrap it for parts. Gravy Live turns unwanted items into shards the same way. Shards and coins pay for weapon and armor upgrades at the upgrade station.

Inventory space is limited, though. The game sells “+10 Inventory Space” for 15 Robux, up to 1,500 slots since Lootaween, and AccelToWin stopped picking up everything mid-session. Quests from Pip Sporeheart and Nana Opal each give 10 slots for free. Clear out junk regularly by dismantling it, and keep anything worth a tier scroll reroll.

How you pick things up changed in Update 2.5: pickup is instant if you did 40% or more of the damage to the mob, and everyone else has to hold to pick up. It applies to creatures, trees, ores and spider webs, so on a crowded server the player who did the work gets the drop first. Dismantling upgraded gear also refunds 30% of the shards you spent on it now. The update log lists the rest of that patch.

Which drops are worth farming?

Boss drops. The most reachable rare drops with a published chance are the 1% Godly Cobra Twinblade Axe from the Triple Head Cobra, the 1% Coffin Blade that Hero Nay can drop on repeat wins, the 1 in 100 Godly Anchor Blade from Captain Blackpowder and the 1 in 250 Godly Crab Hammer from the Skullcrab. The Triple Head Cobra and the Spider also drop rare Ability Runes, according to the official notes. The Jungle notes set the Shard Chest’s Unknown Shard chance at 0.3%, with one guaranteed every 400 opens. Bosses respawn on a timer, and the store sells paid respawns if you do not want to wait:

Boss Respawn product Price
King Chicken Respawn King Chicken 29 Robux
Spider Respawn Spider 99 Robux
Triple Head Cobra Respawn Triple Cobra 99 Robux
“The boss on the sign you picked” Respawn Boss 119 Robux

The notes do not list which bosses have a sign, so check for one before paying for Respawn Boss. It is also worth timing a farm around Luck events, added in the Clan Wars update: “every drop is luckier while the Luck tile shows.”

For regular monsters, the drops that matter early are plain upgrades: a new weapon or armor piece that beats what you wear. The beginner guide shows which enemies you meet first.

Can you still get the Nether set?

Not from the store. The V3 update on October 3, 2026 retired it: the official notes say “The Pumpkin Reaper set replaces the Nether set in the Paid Chest” and “The Nether Pack and the Release Packs are no longer sold”. The products were renamed rather than removed, at the same prices:

Product now Price Was
1x Pumpkin Reaper Chest 99 Robux 1x Nether Chest
3x Pumpkin Reaper Chest 249 Robux 3x Nether Chest
10x Pumpkin Reaper Chests 799 Robux 10x Nether Chests
Pumpkin Reaper Pack 1,199 Robux Nether Pack

Before V3, players kept asking whether Nether could be earned for free, under two separate Dannie videos, and neither thread got a confirmed answer. That question is now closed in the other direction: no source describes any way to get new Nether pieces. Nether is still one of the original Index sets, so pieces you already own still count towards it. The update log has the dates.
